THAT'S IT?? WTH!?!

This week hasn't been a good one for me, as far as working out!! My "trainer" goes to school on Monday & Tuesday nights, so I tend to kinda "slack-off"...shhhhh, don't tell! hahahahahahaha...i mean, I DO work out, but I work out even more when he is home telling me what to do, & how long to do it for...PATHETIC, i know! But this morning, I had to go weigh-in for the week, and BOY DID IT SHOW!! LOL...i only lost .6 lbs, which is pretty much NOTHING to me! So, I was kinda angry & frustrated with myself for being so dang lazy!! What made it worse was the fact that everyone else in the group just walks, and cuts down on what they eat, and here I am, WORKING MY BUTT OFF(sometimes), and when we go to weigh in, they lose more than I did...ahhhhhhhh!!!

This morning, after the weigh-in, I came home and asked my husband, "Why is it that I WORK OUT HARD, and all they do is WALK, but yet they still lose more than I do?? I think I should just GO WALK with them too!!" HA....can you imagine the response?????? LOL....he told me, "So, are you telling me that you wanna just go walking with everyone else?? The one thing they do that helps them lose more than you is they CUT-BACK on their eating..." (and for those of you who REALLY do know me, I AM A JUNK-FOOD "JUNKIE"...like seriously!!) So my husband/eternal companion/BFF/"trainer" told me that I need to, for the next 2 weeks, stop eating the things I LOVE THE MOST......SWEETS!! He says 2 weeks, just so we can see if it will work for me, and if it doesn't, that means that I'm just NOT WORKING OUT HARD ENOUGH!!

With all that HONESTY from the LOVE OF MY LIFE, hahahahaha, we decided to go and buy our own scale(the kind that measures your BMI, water weight, & tracks weight history) cause I'm the type that LOVES to see the results RIGHT AWAY...he also got me a heartrate monitor/pedometer, which measures your pulse, the number of steps you take, how far you've ran or walked, and how many calories you burn. I was so excited that as soon as we got home, I opened up the scale and programmed everything, and jumped on it...DID NOT LIKE WHAT I SAW, because it was MORE than what I weighed in at this morning. So I went straight to the basement to start my work-out! I put on my "new" toy, and started running in place...more like SPRINTING to me, hahahaha! I ran for 3 miles, 1 hour & 11 minutes, burned 233 calories, took over 9,000 steps, and heart rate got up to 174...so I was going pretty good! After I was done, I was soaked in my own sweat, probably the hardest I've sweat in a LOOOOOOOOOONG TIME, hahaha. Anyways, I went and took a shower, and right after, jumped back onto the scale again, and to MY SURPRISE....in that short amount of time, I LOST 6lbs & 3 percent of body fat!! I was soooooooooo happy just to see that!! So from now on, because I know IT'S POSSIBLE, and because it really does PAY OFF, I am going to work HARD everytime!!! I PROMISE!!   1. you amaze me. no joke. i can't run a mile, so the idea of running 3 miles honestly inspires me. hopefully once this baby comes i'll jump on the work-out train!
